Video Streaming
The video streaming website was really fun to work with. This was actually more preferable becasue it was more from a professional aspect of topics compared to being teacher and student made videos. Though mathematics may not incoporate much use of this within the classroom, other subjects will most certainly benefit fromt this site especially in the sciences, arts, history and many others.
Delicious/ Netvibes
Delicious was very interesting and seemed like it could be very useful not only in the classroom for the students but also at home. With this you could teach class and as students find websites that help them can save it to their delicious account and upon returning home can easily acccess the web page without having to worry about remembering the website or how they had to navigate the page to get where they were trying to get to.
Netvibes was interesting to work with, mainly due to the fact that you can pretty much put whatever you want onto your dashboard. its basically the "swiss army knife" of gadgets. It was interesting to have time for different countries as well as following the stock market, all the way to following a particular items current bid on ebay.

FlickR
To some degree Flickr! is a varied type of site similar to teachertube. The only downfall to flickr! is trying to sift through everything due to the fact that it is open to the public therefore it could contain many things which are irrelevant to your topic. Conversely one can also go through prior to teaching a lesson and find short video streams and pictures for one's aid. Overall Flickr! is a very intruiging tool and worth practice and experience can prove a pheaseable tool in the class room.
As for the article pertaining to social networking. Well this is still a touchy subject which can be hard to control within a learning environment. Such things as "cyber bullying" or getting off subject would be slightly more difficult to monitor. Though social networks would be an excellent way at creating study groups and holding a class discussions, through close supervision.

Teacher tube in it's entirety would be an extremely valuable tool not only to the teacher but also for the student as well. In an instance where a student or even a teacher may have to take leave for a class or two, with teacher tube the teacher can preselect several videos for the class to watch to learn the material. Moreover in the students aspect of things they could easily bring up the video on their home computer and learn as if they were physically sitting in the class room. Upon creating a free account, teacher tube is extremely easy to search mainly due to the fact that it filters out a lot of inappropriate stuff which YouTube may not. On top of that for teachers with created accounts can easily skip through the advertisements, create a play list to save for a later date and even create his/her own video for their students. Which is totally awesome because then your students would learn the material the way you would like them to even though you aren't present.
